Today i did Play, Make, Create with Michael. We made a creation for the koala to grab gum leaves of the tree. We did create. It was really fun. we made it out of cardboard then we covered it in black fabric to make it look cooler. This is the finished product
Today we did Play, Make, Create. The book was called we are all equal. I worked with Leo Henderson. We did create. Create was to make a playground for an animal. Leo and I decided to make the playground for a Monkey. In the drawing, we made a slide, treehouse, monkey bars, and some vines for them to swing on. What I would have done better was to make more trees. My favourite thing was the Minecraft bed on the tree.
Rain before rainbow
Today i did build i made a backpack for an adventure. Inside it is. Sleeping bag, gun, campest, flashlight, tent, food. I worked by myself today. I think I did really good on the cover of the bag. I would change the back of the bag and add color to it.
Today we did Whetu challenge. We made a tower out of paper. Today I worked with 2 new people that I didn't work with before. I worked with Dean, Elanor, and Nikki. Dean was doing the tape and Me and the others rolled up all the paper for the tower. It was really fun. The last time out tower didn't stand up. This time we did a lot better, but at the end it fell over.
On Friday we made kites. I worked with Levi, we made our kite out of real estate sign and bamboo. Our kite did fly a little but on Friday. But on Monday our kite didn't fly because our string broke.
The task that I did was build, I worked with Lucian and Levi we made a gaming set up and cars,
The task was about making what uyoulove
The hardest part was making the cars, and the easiest part was to make the Ps4
We used clicko to make it it was really fun all the things that we made were. a Pc, Ps4, Keyboard and mouse, and two cars.
If I fixed up something I would make every think just one color, not 4 colors.
Term 2, Week 1 2021
During Term 1 we have been practicing our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots. At the start it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.
I am now on silver level of NumBots.
I enjoy NumBots because right now it is very challenging in story and challenge
What I find challenging is
This week we have started TTRockstars. This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. First we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables.
I think that TTRockstars is really fun and I lot harder because in jamming you do up to 20 times tables and divisions

The most fun we had was making the aircraft carriers.

Today we did play make create. We read a book about colors. I worked with ethan. We did the colorful device task. We colored our Beyblades different colors and when they spin they looked cool.
Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed. Our teachers planned a fun day
for us instead! We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.
My favourite part of the Amazing Race was doing the basket ball challenge we had to have a ball. We had to go under and over.
The rotation I enjoyed the most was team games. There was cones with bean bags under them. We got a color then we had to try and find our color bean bags. If it was a different color we had to leave it there.
During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in the tree. Then we had to go back to the deck then we traded it for an easter egg and an ice block
Today we did a maths mystery. I worked with Lucian. We had to do 5 clues my favorite clue was number 5 cause it was really easy. But we think that the culprit is the very bottom one Meeta
Me, Lucian, Levi, And Dean we did clicko. we made a camping ground. We made a big camper van some tents and a fire. It was fun it took us an hour to do
This is a boom box that me, Levi, and Lucian made. It is for play make create. We did Make we made something that can make music. It took us 1 hour to make. We made the boom box out of clicko. It was really hard because the corner pieces weren't connecting. Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I did three races. I did breaststroke, backstroke, and freestyle. My favorite one was freestyle. I nearly did one whole length freestyle. I stopped once in the middle. Then i didn’t stop after that. While I wasn’t swimming I played a pokemon card game with Lucian, Levi, Sean, Ethan, and Leo.
We had two art sessions this week and I have been doing art with Mrs Kenedy. We are doing a landscape portrait. I am doing my big piece and i have been doing practice painting on a mountain I’m nearly finished with it.
In reading this week we have been reading a book then we have activities like summerraiser and predictor. So far we have done that.
Part of our maths program is NumBots and I think I am good at it. I play a little bit at home sometimes an hour and right now i am up to titanium. It’s a rainbow robot stage. I can’t wait to get to the diamond.
The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is Trading Pokemon cards, it’s really fun playing and trading with them. Now i have Pokemon that does 300 damage
We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Kennedy Our art is going to be Landscape art. We have started by doing it in our art book. I Have made a rock mountain with a river in front of it so far.
We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look cool. My mum, brother, and sister came. My mum helped me make my star. We glued family photos onto it. On the back, there was a waita.
Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling nervous because i haven’t learned to dive properly yet. I can dive off the side but not off the block.
Week 3, Term 1, 2021
Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Mrs Kenedy, Mrs Loft, Mrs Mac, Mrs Heaven, Ethan, Levi, Michael, Sean.
The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is Doing Numbots, It's a fun math game u have different levels and you can get coins to spend on a better avatar.
The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is Playing Hide and seek with my friends. My favourite part is when I'm hiding because I go to a very Good hiding spot.
One word that describes learning in Whetu is Amazing whetu is a cool class, we get to do really fun stuff every day.
Something I am looking forward to is getting Diamond in Numbots, it is the highest stage in the game.
